Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 11 Pro series in India. In the latest development, the company has confirmed the line-up will make its India debut on March 9. The handset range consists of Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ 5G and will be available for purchase through e-commerce platform Amazon India. To recall, the series made its global debut in January 2022.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro series was first introduced in China last year 2021 and was launched globally last month. Finally, the much-anticipated range of smartphones will be arriving in India soon. The India-specific Pro series will feature a Note 11 Pro+ 5G like its Chinese counterpart. However, the Pro+ model will be similar to the Note 11 Pro 5G that is available globally.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro series bear a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphones features a punch-hole cut-out on the top-center, a noticeable bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, the Note 11 Pro has a quad camera unit, while the Note 11 Pro+ 5G sports a triple camera module.

As far as the cameras are concerned, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ sports a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. Note 11 Pro has a similar arrangement with an additional 2MP depth sensor. Up front, they sport a 16MP selfie snapper. The smartphone house a 5,000mAh battery with a 67W fast-charging support. 

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ 5G are powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 and a Snapdragon 695 SoC, respectively, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. At the heart, they boot Android 11-based MIUI 13 OS out of the box. They could support Android 12 OS in India.

The official pricing and availability details of the Redmi Note 11 Pro series in India will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch. For reference, globally, the series starts at $299 (around Rs. 22,400) and goes up to $379 (roughly Rs. 28,400). The smartphones come in Mysterious Black, Forest Green, Timeless Purple, and Milky Way Blue color options.
