South Korean tech giant, Samsung has launched a new Galaxy A-series smartphone, called the A03, in India. It starts at Rs. 10,499 for the 3GB/32GB model. The phone is up for grabs via the official Samsung website, other online portals, and retail outlets. It first made its debut in Vietnam last November. It features an LCD display, a UNISOC chip, a 48MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy A03 is the latest addition to Samsung's portfolio of budget-range smartphones in India. Although it's been available in some other markets for a while, the company took its sweet time in introducing the phone in India. It succeeds the company's previous A-series device, the A02. The Galaxy A03 takes on the likes of TECNO SPARK 8 Pro in the country.

The Samsung Galaxy A03 bears a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) LCD Infinity-V display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone sports a waterdrop notch design with rounded corners and a prominent bottom bezel. On the rear, it has a dual-camera unit. Dimensions-wise, it is 9.1mm thick and weighs 206g.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A03 is fueled by a UNISOC T606 SoC, paired with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64G of internal storage. At the heart, it runs on Android 11-based One UI Core 3.1 OS out of the box. For connectivity, the smartphone offers support for Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G, and a micro-USB port.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A03 is equipped with a dual rear camera arrangement, comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth lens. On the front, it sports a 5MP (f/2.2) snapper for selfies and video calls. The handset houses a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

For official pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy A03 is priced at Rs. 10,499 for the 3GB/32GB model and carries a price-tag of Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant. The smartphone is offered in Black, Blue, and Red color options. It is now up for grabs via Samsung's official website, other leading online portals, and retail outlets.
