Chinese tech company, Xiaomi has launched two new Redmi Note 11 series smartphones, the Note 11E 5G and Note 11E Pro, in China. The former starts at CNY 1,199 (around Rs. 14,400), while the latter begins at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 20,400). The Note 11E Pro will go on sale from March 4, whereas the Note 11E 5G will be available from March 18.
Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has been busy introducing new Note 11 smartphones around the world. Now the company is back in China with the new Note 11E 5G and Note 11E Pro models. While the Pro model is a rebranded version of the global Note 11 Pro 5G, the Note 11E 5G has been introduced at a low price for the masses.
The Redmi Note 11E 5G bears a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, whereas the Note 11E Pro packs a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Note 11E 5G sports a waterdrop notch design, while the Note 11E Pro has a punch-hole design. They come with a noticeable bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Redmi Note 11E 5G sports a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth lens. The Redmi Note 11E Pro flaunts a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro snapper. Up front, they have a 5MP and 16MP camera, respectively for selfies and video calls. At the heart, they boot Android 11-based MIUI 13 OS out of the box.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11E 5G and Note 11E Pro are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 and Snapdragon 695 SoC, respectively, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The smartphones pack a 5,000mAh battery. The Note 11E 5G supports 18W fast-charging, while the Pro model offers 67W fast-charging.
For pricing and availability, the Redmi Note 11E 5G costs CNY 1,199 (around Rs. 14,400) for 4GB/128GB model and CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs. 15,600) for 6GB/128GB variant. The Note 11E Pro begins at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 20,400) and goes up to CNY 2,099 (approximately Rs. 25,200). The former is available in Green, Black, and Mint, while the latter is offered in Gray, Blue, and White color schemes.
