Google has announced its latest A-series smartphone, called the Google Pixel 6a that comes with all useful features with mid-range price. It brings Tensor chip with Titan M2 security coprocessor. As for the key specifications, the handset features a 6.1-inch OLED Always-on display, 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a dual-camera setup on the rear penal.
The Google Pixel 6a comes with 6.1-inch full-HD+ OLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. The display carries 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone has an IP67 rated certification. The handset comes with a punch-hole front penal and a dual-camera module on the back side.
Talking about cameras, the Google Pixel 6a sports a dual-camera module on the backside that houses a 12.2MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 lens. The rear camera features 4k recording at 30fps and 1080p video recording at 30fps. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone has provided an 8MP front sensor with an f/2.0 lens.
Under the hood, the Google Pixel 6a is packed with an octa-core Google’s Tensor SoC and a Titan M2 coprocessor. For software, it runs on Android 12 Operating System with five years of security updates. The smartphone is paired with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In terms of connectivity, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, and USB Type-C port.
Google Pixel 6a offers a 128GB internal storage. As for battery, the company has provided a 4,410mAh battery on the device with fast charging technology. The handset gets an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Onboard sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
The official pricing and availability details of the Goolge Pixel 6a for other markets are still unknown. Google Pixel 6a has been priced at $449 (approximately Rs. 34,800). It will be available in Chalk, Charcoal, and Sage color options. The smartphone will go on sale in US starting July 21.
