Motorola Edge 30 smartphone was launched in India on May 13 (Friday). The handset comes in mid-range segment that key features are an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, a 144Hz pOLED display, 50MP triple-rear camera setup and a 4,020mAh battery. The Lenovo's sub-brand also offers an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP52-rated certification. 

The Motorola Edge 30 gets a 6.7-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display features a 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset along with Adreno 642L GPU. The device is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device is equipped with a 128GB storage. On the software front, the dual-SIM supporting phone runs on Android 12 with MyUX on the top. 

On the camera front, it sports a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 lens, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 lens and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The smartphone comes with a 32MP front facing camera with an f2.4 lens for selfies and video calling. For the battery, the smartphone packs a 4,020mAh battery that support 33W TurboPower fast charging. 

Connectivity options on the Motorola Edge 30 are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The smartphone has provided an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. It also features an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance. Onboard sensors are an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass. Besides, the device measures 159.38 x 74.236 x 6.79mm and weighs around 155 grams.

For official pricing and availability, the Motorola Edge 30 comes in two variants – 6GB and 8GB. The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs. 27,999 while the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model comes at Rs. 29,999. It will be available for purchase starting May 19 via Reliance Digital, Flipkart, and other online and offline stores.
