Vivo S15 has been launched in India on May 19 (Thursday), alongside the Vivo S15 Pro. The Chinese tech company also introduced the Vivo TWS Air earbuds. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.62-inch touchscreen display, Snapdragon 870 processor, a triple camera setup, and a 4500mAh battery.

The Vivo S15 offers a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.62-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels (FHD+) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The handset is powered by a 4500mAh battery. It supports proprietary fast charging.

In terms of optics, the Vivo S15 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel (f/1.89) primary camera; an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

On the front software, the Vivo S15 runs OriginOS Ocean is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 161.09 x 74.31 x 7.99mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 197.00 grams.

For connectivity options on the Vivo S15 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks), and 5G. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, compass/ magnetometer, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
