Shocking news came from MONSTA X. Starship Entertainment, as management, announced Wonho's departure from the K-Pop group. This was disclosed by the management through an official statement. The statement was released through their official social media accounts.
"After a long discussion with Wonho, a member of MONSTA X, we have agreed to part ways at this time. We really appreciate Wonho's decision to ensure that the recent incident does not interfere with MONSTA X's current and future activities," said the management.
It is known, recently that Wonho was accused of being in debt to a former reality show star, Jung Da Eun. Through his Instagram account, he said that until now Wonho still hasn't paid off his debt and has always avoided it. Starship Entertainment had released a statement denying Jung Da Eun's claims.
However, he countered the objections by releasing a conversation he had with Wonho's lawyer. In the conversation, Jung Da Eun claimed to have lived with Wonho and said the idol did not pay the agreed housing fee and also sold his belongings.
Starship Entertainment also apologized to fans for the incident that had occurred. "In the future we will continue to take legal action for malicious comments and deviant claims regarding this matter. We apologize for the inconvenience we have caused fans," he concluded.
