BTS has set a new record on Spotify. They are included in the list of the 10 most listened to musicians on Spotify in history. BTS is in tenth place with 23.3 billion streams. RM Cs is the only Asian artist on the list. BTS is also the only group on the list. The first to ninth positions are occupied by solo singers.
Drake took first place, followed by Ed Sheeran and Bad Bunny in second and third. Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, and Post Malone followed soon after. In eighth position is occupied by Eminem, and ninth is Taylor Swift. BTS is right under Taylor Swift and occupies the tenth position.
Meanwhile, each BTS member has set their own record on Spotify through solo releases. Suga recently set a record as a Korean solo artist with 10 songs that have been listened to 10 million times on Spotify. Meanwhile, RM is the second solo artist with more than 8 million followers on Spotify, while J-Hope is still in first place at 8.7 million followers.
On the other hand, V set a record through the song Christmas Tree, which is the soundtrack for the drama Our Beloved Summer, and became the fastest Korean male solo song to reach 30 million streams on Spotify. Jimin's filter has hit the 248 million stream mark on Spotify and is the fastest Korean male solo song, which was not promoted at all, to reach that mark.
