Big Mouth is currently still the most popular Korean drama. It's not just the story that makes you curious. The chemistry between Lee Jong Suk and Yoona as husband and wife is well created. In an interview with Oh Choong Hwan, as a director, recently, he also opened up about the process behind the scenes of the unification of Lee Jong Suk and Yoona.

Oh Choong Hwan revealed a scene that finally made Lee Jong Suk agree to join in starring in Big Mouth. The scene is when Chang Ho, the character played by Jong Suk, decides to become Big Mouse to protect his family and yells at the prison guards. "Before shooting, I spoke with Lee Jong Suk and explained that this scene will be a very emotionally iconic scene for Chang Ho throughout the series," said the director.

"This scene also made me think even more about choosing Lee Jong Suk. And then I heard from Lee Jong Suk, that this scene was also what made him finally decide to take on the role in this drama. And I think he did a very good job in bringing the character," he continued. As for competing roles with Yoona, apparently Lee Jong Suk was the one who recommended the actress.

That's because the two have been friends for a long time so it will make the filming process easier. "I immediately felt Lim (Yoona) would be very suitable to take on the role of Ko Mi Ho when reading the script. Not only me, but Lee Jong Suk also highly recommended Yoona for this character," said Oh Choong Hwan.

"Ko Mi Ho is a complicated character who has to balance himself while speaking straightforwardly, but not bothering other people. Because I felt he would be perfect for this character, I offered him the role of Ko Mi Ho. And Yoona did a great job in acting." bring the character," he concluded. Big Mouth is currently still airing and can be watched on Disney+ Hotstar.
