On Thursday July, 28, 2022, Sohu Entertainment News reported that photos of Liu Haoran appeared to be filming a scene on the set of the Chinese drama Bright Future . He is suspected of being one of the cameos of the drama. He is expected to play the younger version of Mei Xiaoge's character.
The Chinese drama Bright Future is one of the big projects this year. In the confirmed cast list, the names of senior Chinese actors and actresses are listed. They were Hu Ge , Wu Yue, Huang Lei, Li Guangjie, Liu Tao, Wan Qian, Sun Chun, Lawrence Wang, You Yong, Ning Wentong, Fang Zibin, and Zhu Yuchen.
Up-and-coming Chinese actor Zhang Xincheng has also been confirmed to join Bright Future . He got the opportunity to play one of the main characters along with his seniors in the Chinese entertainment industry. The character he plays is named Lin Zhiwei. Bright Future will be directed by Kong Sheng and producer Hou Hongliang. The two had been partners several times before.
Besides Bright Future, they are also rumored to be working together again in the production of the Chinese drama Nirvana in Fire 3 . Both Kong Sheng and Hou Hongliang have worked on many hit Chinese dramas. Kong Sheng himself previously directed several popular Chinese dramas such as Battle of Changsha, Nirvana in Fire, Nirvana in Fire 2: The Wind Blows in Chang Lin, and Ode to Joy.

Bright Future produced by Tencent Video is expected to air in 2023 with 30 episodes if there are no problems in the testing process.
