Where the other SEVENTEEN members act as citizens with their own characters. Through his interview with Esquire Korea, Wonwoo revealed that at first he had doubts about whether the content would be fun or not.

He was worried about the other members who had to feel a lot of pressure to be funny before filming. But in fact, the episode of 'WONWOO's Diary' which was recorded without a script could start with laughter from everyone and continue with jokes that appear without anyone asking for it. “ I know everyone has a lot of talent, but I didn't know they had this level of talent.

As a bystander, I could see almost every scene live, so I remember laughing the whole time. Wonwoo said. When asked if there will be a next season for GOING SEVENTEEN's 'WONWOO's Diary'. Wonwoo replied that he didn't know for sure because his schedule with SEVENTEEN was still full of touring. However, he also said, “ But after saying this, one day, he might suddenly return to season 2.

There are many funny scenes that can't be captured in the video, and there are still ideas that we haven't tried. " Talking about Wonwoo's acting as a documentary director in GOING SEVENTEEN's episode of 'WONWOO's Diary', Esquire Korea also asked Wonwoo's interest in filming.  Wonwoo himself is known as one of the SEVENTEEN members who are interested in the field of cinematography.

During the interview Wonwoo revealed the reason for his interest in the field of cinematography. “ Before Corona, I did a lot of world tours, but because I was busy moving from city to city and standing on stage, my memories were jumbled and hazy. There are lots of fun and touching moments on stage, but it's a shame to forget them all. So I want to record it. " he explained.

He also added “ At first, I filmed it a few times for personal collection, but as interest grew, I started wanting to learn it properly. After that, whenever I saw a video director, I learned editing and filming techniques in my spare time. " Esquire Korea asked what video Wonwoo wanted to shoot. Wonwoo replied that he wanted them to have a music video for SEVENTEEN's new song 'Circles' from the SECTOR 17 repackaged album.

Previously, Wonwoo had also worked on the music video for the song 'Holiday' from the album You Make My Day. The video was released via SEVENTEEN's YouTube in 2018. Besides Wonwoo, there is also Mingyu who also has the same interest as Wonwoo. Mingyu himself directed the music video for the song 'Snap Shoot' in 2020.
