Actor Yoon Hong Bin was also on set when the Itaewon Halloween tragedy occurred. He admitted to helping medical personnel to help the victims who fell. The star of The Jingbirok: A Memoir of Imjin War admitted that this was his first time visiting a Halloween party in Itaewon. He said the main road was already filled with people, so he chose to stay away with his lover.

Even though he was not at the scene, Yoon Hong Bin felt the urges. In fact it took him about 10 minutes to walk out of the crowd. When the incident occurred, Yoon Hong Bin was at one of the bars. He saw from the start how the crowd turned into a terrible tragedy in just a short time. Around 142 ambulances were dispatched to the scene.

However, the large number of people walking which caused traffic jams made it difficult for the medical team to reach the location. Seeing the horror that happened, Yoon Hong Bin ran to help the victims. He and his girlfriend also immediately helped perform CPR on the victim. "For 20 minutes I did CPR. My lover massaged the hands and feet of the victims. We cried and prayed that the victims could open their eyes," said Yoon Hong Bin.

"Dozens of other people also helped perform CPR on the victim. You could hear us all pleading for the victim to open their eyes. But from what happened, there was only one victim in the alley who actually regained consciousness. help me," he continued. Yoon Hong Bin said the incident should not have happened if handled properly. The actor hopes the same thing will never happen.

Yoon Hong Bin added, "The signs can be seen from the start and should have been prevented. I know the police are working very hard, but unfortunately no one thought of leading them in the middle to walk to the side," added Yoon Hong Bin. "I hope we can all work together to make sure this doesn't happen again. Let's focus on how this all happened," he concluded.
