Woollim Entertainment brings shocking news regarding Golden Child's Bomin. The idol is said to have been hit with a golf club until his facial bones were fractured. The incident occurred when Bomin was playing golf on September 28, 2022. Suddenly, he was hit in the face with a wooden golf club.
"On the afternoon of September 28, Golden Child member Bomin was hit in the face with a wooden golf club that someone else was holding while practicing golf," said Woollim Entertainment. "After that, Bomin immediately underwent treatment and a detailed examination," he continued.
After a thorough examination, the medical team said Bomin needed facial surgery. So, Bomin takes a long time to undergo treatment and rehabilitation. "Based on the results of the medical examination, facial fracture surgery is necessary. We are currently coordinating the surgery schedule," added Woollim Entertainment.
"Based on recommendations from the medical staff, because treatment and rehabilitation must be carried out for a certain period of time after surgery, Bomin will focus on treatment and recovery for the time being," he said. Wollim Entertainment also decided that Bomin would be given time off to recover. So for the time being, he can't do activities with Golden Child.
