Lee Seung Gi's conflict with Hook Entertainment has now reached court. The actor filed a lawsuit against the court after the management did not pay his royalties in the music world for 18 years. For the first time, Lee Seung Gi appeared before the public at the 2022 KBS Drama Awards after a conflict with management was discussed. 

The actor surprised the public when he appeared at KBS Hall, Seoul with a bald head. Lee Seung Gi was rewarded with the Daesang (highest award) for his acting at The Law Cafe. While speaking on the podium, the actor also emphasized that the change in his appearance had absolutely nothing to do with the conflict. 

"First of all, I think I have to tell you all why I cut my hair short," said Lee Seung Gi. "Many have speculated that this is a personal reason or a change in mind personally. But it has nothing to do with it at all," he said. Lee Seung Gi 's new appearance apparently is in preparation for shooting his latest film titled Large Family. 

In the speech, he admitted that he was very happy to be back in films after being busy with Korean dramas for so long. "Personally, I really enjoy doing movies. Especially the romantic genre, which I haven't done in a long time," explained Lee Seung Gi. It is known that Lee Seung Gi has now moved to his own agency, HumanMade. 

The actor has also donated the money that Hook Entertainment finally envisioned for him for the Seoul National University Children's Hospital. The incident that happened to Lee Seung Gi also received attention from the South Korean government. The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, Park Bo Kyun, stated that he would ensure that there was no second. 

Lee Seung Gi who was also harmed by the management that has been overshadowing him. "We will thoroughly and wisely identify ways to avoid unfair practices in the entertainment industry. So that justice in the pop culture and arts industries, which are the main projects this year, can be further strengthened," he stressed.
