Fans of the Korean drama Missing: The Other Side were surprised by the presence of actor Im Siwan as a cameo in the final episode of the second season of the drama. Missing: The Other 2 has aired its final episode last Wednesday February 1, 2023. The drama, made by director Min Yeong Hong, continues the story of Kim Wook who tries to help the spirits in the new unseen village called 3 Gongdan to find their bodies. 

In the last seconds of episode 14, Im Siwan appeared against the background of a playground where right behind him was a merry-go-round. Im Siwan appeared with a warm smile welcoming people who came. Not much dialogue was delivered he just said "welcome". If we look back, the background of the playground and the merry-go-round also appeared in Kim Wook's dream. 

The 14th episode also shows a scene of Kim Wook driving a car into a mysterious tunnel. Then the scene changes to highlight a carousel that is exactly the same as in Kim Wook's dream. In Missing: The Other Side 2 it is not explained what kind of character Im Siwan is. However, fans on social media Twitter believe that Im Siwan will appear in the third season with a new spirit village. 

Fans are also speculating that Im Siwan will be the caretaker of a new village playing the same role as Thomas in Missing: The Other Side 1 and Captain Kang in the second season. However, there is no official information regarding the continuation and filming plans of Missing: The Other Side 3. 

Im Siwan's involvement in the next season is also yet to be confirmed. Im Siwan is an actor and a member of the boy band ZE:A. The man born in 1988 started starring in a Korean drama since 2010 entitled Prosecutor Princess. Im Siwan has been active on the screen for more than two decades. 

Some of his iconic drama projects such as The King in Love (2017) which collided with SNSD's Yoona, Tracer (2022), and Summer Strike (2022). Im Siwan has also starred in a number of popular Korean films such as A Melody to Remember (2016), Emergency Declaration (2022), and most recently Unlocked (2023) which will soon be broadcast on Netflix starting February 17.
