On Monday February 6, 2023, Studio Liu Yuxin's official Weibo account uploaded a statement regarding the progress regarding the artist's reputation rights protection case. In this statement, it was stated that some users of the Sina Weibo platform repeatedly made posts in the form of articles or photos that were considered insulting to Liu Yuxin.
The posts published and disseminated have seriously damaged Liu Yuxin's public image. This negatively affected Liu Yuxin's personal reputation and seriously violated Liu Yuxin's rights and interests. After collecting various valid evidences, the company and Liu Yuxin agreed to entrust this case to the lawyers so that they could immediately file a lawsuit.
Currently, the case has passed court review and is being tried. The company will continue to engage in investigating similar cases in accordance with applicable law. Later, the account owner who has been found guilty is required to take legal responsibility and bear public compensation for decency, compensation for mental damage, as well as related rights protection costs to Liu Yuxin as the victim.
Liu Yuxin's studio then attached screenshots of several related cases submitted to the court. The studio also sternly warned other SNS users to immediately delete posts containing insults and false information aimed at Liu Yuxin. Liu Yuxin himself is one of the most popular singers in China today. He has more than 24 million followers on the Weibo platform.

This group was formed on May 30 2020 and officially disbanded in December 2021. After THE9 disbanded, Liu Yuxin is still actively attending various Chinese television programs. In 2022, he hosted Street Dance of China Season 5 with Wang Yibo, Han Geng, Lee Seunghyun, and Liao Bo.
