The grandson of the former president of South Korea, Chun Woo Won, stole the attention with his handsome appearance. His name became a conversation after being arrested for exposing family secrets. Chun Woo Won is the grandson of former South Korean president Chun Doo Hwan who is known for his dictatorial leadership.
Later the 27-year-old man made a statement that shocked the public. According to Chun Woo Won, his grandfather had committed many crimes such as embezzling state funds. Chun Woo Won did not even hesitate to call his grandfather a killer of South Koreans who protested against his regime.
"I think my grandfather was a massacre. He was not a hero who defended his country, but a criminal," said Chun Woo Won as quoted from Koreaboo. In his statement, Chun Woo Won said that his family was able to live in luxury because of his grandfather's dark money. He could go to school in the United States and earn millions of won every year from someone.
Apart from exposing family secrets, Chun Woo Won admitted to using LSD and marijuana. Even during his YouTube live broadcast, Chun Woo Won showed signs of hallucinating. The man started to panic when police, fire and ambulance appeared in front of his apartment. His livestream lasted for an hour before authorities came in and escorted him out on a stretcher.
The grandson of the former South Korean president was eventually taken to the hospital and his video was removed from YouTube for violating regulations. Chun Woo Won, who lives in New York, was arrested upon arrival at Incheon International Airport on Tuesday March 28, 2023.
He was taken in by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Drug Investigation Team to undergo further investigation. However, Korean netizens were actually captivated by Chun Woo Won's good looks after seeing his photos in the news. The grandson of the former South Korean president was seen wearing a black suit with his hands cuffed.
"He's not even an artist and he looks so handsome. I can only dream of seeing him in person," commented a Korean netizen. "With his good looks, he can become an actor hahaha," wrote a Korean netizen. "This person exercises a lot, his body must be very good," said another Korean netizen.
