WayV's Kun is Reported to Have an Ankle Injury, Worried by Fans

One of the WayV boy group members, namely Kun, reportedly suffered a leg injury while carrying out activities outside the official schedule. This news was conveyed by SM Entertainment through the official WayV account on the Kwangya Club page on Monday April 17, 2023. 

The following contains the announcement regarding Kun WayV's health condition. "Hello, this is an announcement to fans regarding the health condition of WayV member Kun, who recently suffered an ankle injury," said SM Entertainment, as quoted from the Instagram account @nctzenarea.

They continued, “Kun injured his ankle while doing his hobby. He then visited the hospital and was immediately treated.” “At this time, there are no other health problems, other than the ankle injury he has. Kun will be wearing a cast for protection and recovery from his ankle injury."

Even though he was suffering from a leg injury, Kun insisted on participating in WayV's group activities as scheduled. After having a number of discussions with the medical staff, SM Entertainment decided that Kun should use a cast as well as a wheelchair to carry out his activities with WayV, such as continuing the '2023 WayV Fanmeeting Tour [Phantom]'.

SM Entertainment also asked for fans' understanding regarding Kun's current health condition. They also promised to help Kun recover and prioritize the artist's health, so that he can greet fans in good health. Hearing this news, the fans naturally felt sad and worried.
