aespa finally made a comeback by releasing their third mini album titled MY WORLD. They managed to set a new sales record in one day. Based on data from Hanteo Chart, aespa's MY WORLD sold more than 1.3 million units in just one day after its release.
aespa became the third girl group in K-Pop history to sell more than 1 million album units within one day of its release. aespa is in third place after BLACKPINK through the album BORN PINK and LE SSERAFIM through their latest album, UNOFRGIVEN.
BLACKPINK at that time sold 1.01 million album units while LE SSERAFIM sold 1.02 million albums. Through sales figures, aespa is the girl group that managed to sell the most albums in just one day in the history of K-Pop music. aespa also managed to dominate a number of charts after the release of MY WORLD.
They won first place on the iTunes Top Album chart in 20 countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, to Kazakhstan. Not only that, aespa has also succeeded in sweeping China's QQ Music chart to domestic music charts such as MelOn, Genie, Vibe, and Bugs.
