South Korean boy group, INFINITE, made a surprising announcement for their fans. Quoted from the Daum page Tuesday, May 9, 2023, INFINITE opened a new social media account and announced the establishment of a new agency called INFINITE Company.
Previously, INFINITE was under the Woolim Entertainment agency. INFINITE Company registered INFINITE leader Kim Sung Kyu as CEO or agency representative on January 19, 2023. INFINITE Company also received trademark rights to the band name INFINITE, from Woolim Entertainment.
Woolim Entertainment's president, Lee Jung Yeop has transferred trademark rights unconditionally, without any charge, he fully supports INFINITE's activities and transferred trademark rights as a birthday gift to leader Kim Sung Kyu in April.
INFINITE Company will be the sole agency for the group activities of the members, who each signed with a different company after the expiration of their contracts with Woollim Entertainment. Along with this, INFINITE also announced their comeback as a celebration of their 13th anniversary since their debut .
Through the official Youtube channel, they uploaded a teaser video entitled It's INFINITE's TIME now with a duration of 10 seconds. This video only features the logo as well as the 13th debut anniversary date. In the video description it says, INFINITE official YouTube channel open!
