The death of ASTRO's Moonbin still leaves deep sorrow for the family, including his younger brother Moon Sua. The Billlie girlband personnel have now decided to take a short hiatus from artistic activities. Previously, Billlie had canceled all of their activity schedules following the news of ASTRO's Moonbin's death.
Now Mystic Story's management explains that for the time being, Moon Sua will not take part in Billlie's official activities which are scheduled in Japan in the near future. "Hello, this is Mystic Story. We announce that Moon Sua will not participate in the promotional schedule for the Japanese album Billlie which will be released on May 17, 2023.
This promotion will run with six members namely Haram, Haruna, Sheon, Siyoon, Suhyeon, and Tsuki. We ask understanding from fans. Thank you, "wrote Mystic Story in his official statement. The death of ASTRO's Moonbin made Moon Sua's management stop promoting the Billlie album to give the member time to be with his family.
In a subsequent statement, management then announced that Billlie would temporarily be active with six members. It has not been explained how long Moon Sua will be on hiatus. ASTRO's Moonbin died on April 19, 2023. His funeral will be held behind closed doors while the tribute site will be open until June.
As a final tribute, the fans or commonly called AROHA, flooded the ASTRO agency building, Fantagio, with flowers and gifts filled with the deceased's favorite things. All letters, flowers, and gifts left by Aroha at that location will be properly preserved by Fantagio. Management promised to keep the fans' mementos intact.
"All letters and gifts left in the memorial space in front of the Fantagio office will be stored with care. Writings on paper and letters will be collected and stored periodically during the mourning period so they can be kept intact without any damage," explained Fantagio's management.
