SHINee's Key just won “Top Male Solo” in the Brand Customer Loyalty Awards. Launching the official account @ shinee on Tuesday May 2, 2023, congratulations on Key's new achievements as a soloist. “Key, congratulations on winning first place in the best male solo for the Brand Customer Loyalty Award! 2023” wrote the caption in the official upload.
The owner of the full name Kim Kibum has released his latest solo album on February 13, 2023. The second repackaged album titled "Killer" has finally been released after being delayed for so long. Carrying the theme of a broken heart that contrasts with the atmosphere of Valentine's Day in February, Key managed to attract the attention of music lovers.
There are three new songs on this album, namely the title song "Killer", as well as two other songs ("Heatless" and "Easy"). In addition, songs from the album "Gasoline", including: "Gasoline", "Bound", Villain (Feat. NCT's Jeno), "Burn", "Guilty Pleasure", "GOAT (Greatest of all Time)", " I Can't Sleep”, “Ain't Gonna Dance”, “Another Life”, “Delight”, and “Proud”.
Just like his other solo albums, Key always prepares a full song in English for international fans, namely "Another Life". He also always creates songs that tell stories about his life journey, namely “Proud”. Not only that, he also collaborated with other artists and this time it was NCT's Jeno turn to be Key's choice in the song "Villain".
He always maintains these three characteristics in every solo comeback. On the other hand, Key also made "Killer" as the closing album of his solo album trilogy after "Bad Love" and "Gasoline". As a trilogy album, the three of them also carry a unique concept. Starting from the teaser schedule, album packaging, to album details which were made with full creativity.
Key's victory in 'SHINee Month' was also greeted with joy by the fans. " I'm glad Key's activities in recent years are getting recognized ," fans tweeted. " He grew very well as a soloist ," said another. “ He deserved it. The albums are genius ,” another Shawol pro. Congratulations Keys!
