Lay Zhang shocked fans with his presence at SMTOWN LIVE 2025. The Chinese member of Kpop group EXO showed his support for Suho and Chanyeol. Recently, Lay has hinted at a reunion with his members. As is known, Lay Zhang decided to leave SM Entertainment in 2022.

Lay shared the news to coincide with EXO's 10th anniversary. Although no longer under the auspices of the agency that made his name, Lay Zhang is still part of EXO. The owner of the name Zhang Yixing also maintains a good relationship with his member.

Previously on Friday January 3, 2025, Lay Zhang hinted at a reunion with EXO personnel while appearing on a Bilibili live broadcast. The reunion agenda is planned to take place at the end of the year after Sehun and Kai complete their military service.

"In September or October 2024, we will confirm whether we can gather with the members. I don't know and can't confirm anything right now, but we are discussing it," Lay said. The reunion that EXO-L (fans of KPop group EXO) had been waiting for actually came early.

Lay attended SM Entertainment's grand concert, SMTOWN LIVE 2025 at Gocheok Sky Dome Seoul. He flew from China to South Korea because he didn't want to miss Suho and Chanyeol's performances. The SMTOWN LIVE 2025 concert was held for two consecutive days, precisely on January 11 and 12, 2025.

Lay Zhang was present on the first day and was seen singing while swinging a lightstick while watching his colleagues, Suho and Chanyeol, perform. In a video uploaded by the Twitter account @kokokbop, Lay was seen singing along to the song 'First Snow' from the stands. He then shared a photo with Suho and Chanyeol backstage.

"@kimjuncotton @real__pcy See you next time~~~~~~~ ^^ we are one! Brothers forever," wrote Lay Zhang as the caption, not forgetting to tag both of their Instagram accounts. Lay Zhang stands in the middle and is flanked by Chanyeol and Suho. The three EXO members look compact wearing black clothes.

Chanyeol also re-uploaded Lay's Instagram Story with the caption, "I love you, ge" The term "Ge" in Chinese means older brother, just like "hyung" in Korean. Their interaction cured the fans' longing. In addition to their photos together, Lay also shared a video of KPop group EXO's leader, Suho, practicing backstage.

"Our leader works so hard, You're so serious, leader. He's sooooo serious, our leader," wrote Lay, praising Suho. According to fan reports, Lay has left South Korea and returned to China today, Sunday January 12, 2025. Meanwhile, EXO-Ls are increasingly looking forward to the surprise of their reunion at the end of the year.
