Following the news that three EXO members, namely Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen, filed a lawsuit against the agency SM Entertainment, support for the three of them continued to arrive. On June 3, 2023, EXO-L (the name for EXO fans) sent a truck to the front of the SM Entertainment building.
The truck reads support for EXO, especially Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen who are fighting for justice against their agency, SM Entertainment. On the truck body is a large LED screen that continuously displays the words " We always stand with EXO ", " We are one ", " Please love EXO ", and the Chinese words " Wo ai ni " which means "I love you".
At the same time, fans on social media also show their solidarity and support by updating their profile photos and using hashtags or special hashtags to show their support. Fans use profile photos with a red background that reads "WE STAND UNITED FOR EXO". Apart from changing their profile photo, they also use the hashtag #WeStandWithCBX which is a trending topic on Twitter.
As is well known, Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin have announced that they have terminated their contract with the SM Entertainment agency through their legal representatives. The three EXO members also sued for enforcing "slave contracts", unfair and non-transparent payments, and coercion regarding contract extensions.
Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin have also made official statements to express their apologies for worrying fans. In their latest statement, the three also said that they wanted to continue their activities with EXO even though they had terminated their contract with SM Entertainment.
The lawyer also said that the case of dispute between the three EXO members and SM Entertainment had nothing to do with their love for the fans who have supported them for a long time. Therefore, the fans united and showed their full support. Fans feel that Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin's decisions are the best so that all three must get justice.
