NCT DOJAEJUNG has just released its first mini album titled Perfume on Monday May 17, 2023, on all online music sites. The mini album Perfume topped physical albums on Hanteo, Hottracks, and Circle Retail Albums. Not only that, the title song, namely Perfume also managed to top the Vibe charts.
The mini album of the unit consisting of Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo contains a total of 6 songs with the theme of love, including Perfume which is the title track of this album. The other five songs in this mini album are Kiss, Dive, Strawberry Sunday, Can We Go Back, and Ordinary.
Perfume is an R&B electro funk song with groovy electronic bass, rhythmical slap guitar, and synth pad, and various cappella vocals. The lyrics of this song give the message that someone will leave their scent / fragrance to loved ones.
In addition, NCT DOJAEJUNG will also release performance videos of the songs "Perfume and Kiss" that show the sensual music and performances of the three subunit group members. The performance videos of the two songs will be released today, April 18, 2023, at 18:00 WIB through NCT's YouTube channel.
