Online streaming service TVING recently released the first teaser of their upcoming drama " Island ". Adapted from the famous webtoon of the same name, "Island" is about the dark secrets hidden in the beauty of Jeju Island, and about people who are destined to fight against the evil forces that are trying to destroy this world.
An action fantasy genre, "Island" has three main characters starring Cha Eun Woo, Lee Da Hee , and Kim Nam Gil. The first character, Pan, is an immortal monster hunter who has protected the world from evil demons for thousands of years. Kim Nam Gil, who is famous for " Queen Seondeok " (2009), " Pandora " (2016), " The Pirates " (2014), " The Fiery Priest " (2019), " Through The Darkness " (2022), and " A Man of Reason " (2022), will play this character.
The second character, Mi Ho, an heir to a conglomerate ( chaebol ) who has immense power that he is not aware of is played by Lee Da Hee, an actress who skyrocketed through the legal drama " I Can Hear Your Voice " where she co-acted with Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk.
The third character, John, is a young priest who works as an exorcist priest. Famous globally for his acting in " Gangnam Beauty " and " True Beauty ", as well as his good looks, actor Cha Eun Woo was lined up to play Pastor John, as reported by the Soompi website.
