In k-pop terms, the nickname for the youngest member in the group is reserved for the youngest member. Usually, members who are positioned as the maknae often get special treatment from other members through babying behavior or being treated like babies or small children. They also used to act cute according to their age.

However, some of the maknaes actually look like the oldest members. So that some netizens were shocked when they found out that they were the maknae in their group. In the following, there are nine who are positioned as  the maknae but look like they are not the maknae in the group. Come on, see the article.

1. SEVENTEEN's Dino

In the SEVENTEEN group, Dino is the group's maknae. He was born on February 11, 1999, making him 4 years old from S.Coups as the oldest member who was born on August 8, 1995. Usually, the group's maknae will be treated spoiled by the other members, but it's different from Dino who is often bullied by members who are older than him.

Often getting naughty behavior from the members, makes Dino have a more mature and wiser mind than his age. He even often gives advice to other members, so many new fans don't think that Dino is the youngest  member in SEVENTEEN.

2. ENHYPEN's Ni-ki

Ni-ki who was born on December 9, 2005 is the maknae in ENHYPEN. He has an age gap of 4 years from Heeseung as the oldest member. Many people don't believe that Ni-ki is the youngest member in ENHYPEN, because he looks so mature.

What's more, he is the tallest member in the group with Heeseung, namely 183 cm. He also often shows serious expressions and rarely acts funny, making fans often call him a fake hyung.

3. ATEEZ's Jongho

Jongho is the maknae who was born on October 12, 2000, he is the main vocalist at ATEEZ. Even though he is the youngest member in the group, in fact many are surprised when they find out that Jongho is the maknae. That's because Jongho looks very mature. Even his face and appearance do not describe a maknae. Some netizens even thought that Wooyoung was the group's maknae.

4. GOT7's Yugyeom

Yugyeom was born on November 17, 1997 which makes him the youngest member of the group. He has a 4 year age difference with Mark as the oldest member who was born in 1993. Yugyeom rarely acts cute, and he looks very mature, both in appearance and behavior. He is also the tallest member, so many think he is not the group's maknae.

5. Stray Kids' I.N

The Maknae of Stray Kids has the nickname Maknae On Top from the other members. That's because, I.N who was born on February 8, 2001 has the highest throne in the group. He was treated like a little brother by the other members.

Even so, when on stage, I.N does emit a mature aura, he also has a sharp jaw that makes him look manly. Netizens also often think that IN is not the maknae in the group because apart from being the tallest member, I.N also behaves maturely like the oldest member.

6. SF9's Chani

Chani, who is now more focused on acting, is also the maknae in his group. He was born on January 17, 2000. Many people think that Chani is not the maknae in SF9, that's because Chani always acts mature like the oldest member. He also rarely does cute things like a maknae. His mature personality makes him often mistaken for a fake hyung.

7. BTS' Jungkook

Even though he has a cute face and likes to act funny, Jungkook is also often considered not the maknae, you know. The man who was born on September 1, 1997 has tall and manly body proportions.

Especially now that he is 27 years old, Jungkook decided to get tattoos on his arms and piercings on his lips and forehead. His appearance made him look more mature than the oldest member of BTS, namely Jin. That's why Jungkook is often called a fake hyung while Jin is called a fake maknae.

Those are seven male K-pop idols who don't look like the maknae. They are indeed the youngest among the others and often act mature, but they are still the favorite siblings of the other members and often get babying from members who are older than them.
