BTS' V (Kim Taehyung) has been chosen as the ambassador for Cartier! Adapting from Soompi on Wednesday July 19, 2023, Cartier announced that V is the newest face of the Panthére De Cartier campaign as an ambassador for the luxury brand.
Cartier is a luxury jewelry and watch brand from Paris, France which was founded in 1847 in Paris by Louis-François Cartier. Famous for being very elegant and expensive, the idol whose real name is Kim Taehyung is considered suitable to be an ambassador for the brand.
Arnaud Carrez, Cartier International Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer said, “We naturally chose V to express the charm and aura of a panther. V, who is filled with individuality and a strong aura, will make decisions driven by his creativity as a dancer, musician, and art lover, and he will display his own style as well as his grace."
Through his personal Instagram account, V BTS uploaded a portrait of himself wearing one of the jewelry produced by Cartier. As an ambassador for the brand, the man who was born in 1995 seems to exude an aura that matches the elegant impression of the jewelry he exhibits.
Although this news sounds great as an idol's great achievement, in fact BTS' V has been an ambassador for other luxury brands before. BTS' V has been nicknamed the 'Celine Boy' because of his role as an ambassador for the famous brand.
