Chris Evans wants to take a break from the world of social media. The Captain America star deactivated his Twitter and Instagram accounts. Before deleting social media accounts, the 42-year-old actor announced to his followers that he wanted to enjoy his summer vacation to the fullest without any 'disruptions'.

Chris Evans also apologized for a while. "Hello everyone, I wanted to enjoy summer with less screen time so I wanted to take a break from Twitter and Instagram. See you soon! Love you!" tweeted Chris Evans. Now Chris Evans' Twitter and Instagram accounts are inaccessible.

When trying to find the account name, it says: "Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Go back to Instagram." Chris Evans first created an Instagram account on May 1, 2020 under the name @chrisevans.

After only a day of existence on the photo and video-based social network, its followers have reached 1 million followers. In his first video upload, Chris said that his Instagram account would be a virtual hangout with his five close friends.

They are Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner. "This will be my virtual hangout with five of my friends. Later, we will do a debriefing and you can ask us," said Chris in the video.
