South Korean actress Park Shin Hye recently sent relief goods worth 100 million won to victims of flash floods in South Korea. Park Shin Hye channeled her aid through the Korean Red Cross organization and gave 2,000 summer blankets worth 100 million won to the victims.
"Park Shin Hye found out about the local situation in the affected areas through the Korean Red Cross, and personally selected and donated the needed 2,000 summer blankets (a total value of 100 million won) to families affected by heavy rains," said a representative of the Korean Red Cross as quoted from Allkpop on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
The organization also added, "We hope that Park Shin Hye's warm kindness will provide comfort and strength to residents in areas affected by the heavy rains who lost their homes due to the sudden disaster " Park Shin Hye has been known as an artist who has never hesitated to reach out to those in need.
Previously, she made a donation of 50 million won for fire victims on the east coast of Korea in 2022 through the Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief. Furthermore, Park Shin Hye also made donations for disaster relief in cases such as the 2019 Gangwon Province forest fire and the 2020 local flood.
