Unpleasant news came from one of the boy group The Boyz member, namely Eric. The idol reportedly suffered an injury ahead of the ' ZENERATION ' concert in Singapore. Quoting from Soompi on July 20, 2023, the agency that oversees The Boyz, IST Entertainment reported that one of The Boyz members, namely Eric, was forced to be absent from the concert in Singapore due to injury.
The following is a statement from IST Entertainment regarding Eric's latest health condition. "Hello, this is IST Entertainment. One of The Boyz members, Eric fell down the stairs while preparing for the 'THE BOYZ 2nd WORLD TOUR: ZENERATION in SINGAPORE' concert and suffered a spinal injury. He is currently in the hospital to undergo a thorough examination," explained IST Entertainment.
Due to this incident, Eric was forced to be absent from the 'ZENERATION' concert in Singapore which was scheduled for July 20, 2023. The agency also emphasized that it would continue to provide updates regarding Eric's health condition and his future schedule. They also apologized for worrying fans with this shocking news.
IST Entertainment also promised to do their best to help Eric recover from his injury and asked for fans' understanding. Meanwhile, after performing in Singapore, The Boyz is still scheduled to hold a 'ZENERATION' concert in Jakarta on July 29, 2023 and in Bangkok, Thailand on the 5th and 6th of August 2023.
However, the agency has yet to provide any news on whether Eric will participate in the 'ZENERATION' concerts in Jakarta and Bangkok in the near future. If Eric's condition permits, it is possible that the idol will participate in both concerts. But if that's not possible, Eric will be absent again to recover his health. Once again, a speedy recovery to The Boyz's Eric.
