DAY6 member Young K is rumored to be making his latest comeback in September. Through JYP Entertainment's latest upload on official social media on Monday July 31, 2023, the owner's real name Kang Young-hyun will launch his first album titled Letters with notes which is scheduled for release on September 4, 2023.
"Young K 1st Full Album <Letters with notes>," wrote @jypnation in his tweet on Twitter, Monday July 31, 2023. Besides, the company also posted a teaser poster for Young K's first full-length album. In the poster, a green clock is displayed, each hand forming 09.04. It is known, the time on the clock indicates Young K's comeback date which will take place on September 4.
The vintage nuanced poster also includes the album title Letters with notes written in cursive style. Although neither the agency nor Young K have provided clear details regarding the track list or comeback promotion schedule, fans immediately enthusiastically welcomed the new work from the DAY6 personnel. "Ahhhh so excited!!!!!!" write a comment on one account on Twitter.
"READY AND SEATED!!!!!!!" added comments from other fans. Previously, the man born in 1993 had just made his solo debut in 2021 by releasing Extended Plays titled Eternal. Through the album Letters with Notes , Young K officially returned to his activities as a musician after completing his mandatory military service last April.
During his military service, Young K joined the Korean Augmentation To the United States Army (KATUSA) team. KATUSA is a Republic of Korea Army team consisting of conscripts and soldiers of the eighth Southern Army. Thanks to this, Young K became the first K-pop idol to become a member of the military unit.
On the other hand, through the @mecimapro promoter, Young K is known to be visiting Indonesia for the Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2023 festival which will be held at Beach City International Stadium, Jakarta on December 9, 2023. Being the first line up to be announced, Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2023 tickets will be set at a price range from IDR 1.5 million to IDR 2.7 million.
