Millie Bobby Brown says she's ready to part ways with the phenomenal series Stranger Things. Starring in the role of Eleven since 2016 or to be precise when she was 12 years old, Millie Bobby Brown revealed that this breakup felt like she was graduating from school.
Thus, Brown feels that the series from the talented hands of Matt and Ross Duffer has helped shape his maturing process. "In my little heart, I feel ready (to separate)," Millie Bobby Brown told Women's Wear Daily, reported by Variety on Tuesday August 15, 2023.
"The series has been such a big part of my life, it's like graduating from high school, it's like entering senior year," he said. "I feel ready to step up, grow, and shine, and I'm grateful for the time I've been through, but the time is now to make a personal message and live my own life," he concluded.
As has been popular on social media, Stranger Things will enter the end of its story through its fifth season. Even so, the production process for the final season was hampered due to a strike by Hollywood writers and actors. Meanwhile, another actor from this series, Gaten Matarazzo, had expressed his fear of the end of Stranger Things back in March.
"There is a feeling of joy because we always want to give a satisfying ending ," said the Dustin actor when he attended Jimmy Fallon's show. "However, there is a deep sense of fear. Not only is it a great experience, but it also guarantees a pretty good job for a while. It's back to freelancing," she says.
The news that Stranger Things will end in season 5 was echoed in early 2022 by the creators and showrunners of Stranger Things, namely the Duffer brothers. In providing a satisfying ending for the audience, the Duffer Brothers have prepared many new things, such as plans to make spin-offs from Stranger Things.
However, there is still no known information regarding the plot, characters or cast in the upcoming Stranger Things spin-off project. The Duffer Brothers only revealed that the Stranger Things spin-off would not be centered on the series' main character, Eleven. The spin-off is also not centered on Dustin or Steve Harrington.
