EXO's Suho will reportedly star in a historical drama for the first time. On Friday September 22, 2023, Star News reported that Suho would participate in the MBN drama "The Crown Prince Has Disappeared" (working title). SM Entertainment representatives also spoke about the news.

"Suho received an offer from the production team for 'The Crown Prince Has Disappeared' and is currently discussing his appearance, and is positively considering it," said SM Entertainment as quoted by Soompi on Friday September 22, 2023.

“The Crown Prince Has Disappeared” is a romantic historical drama set in the Joseon era that tells the story of a crown prince who is kidnapped by the woman who would become his wife. As they escape, the seeds of love eventually grow between them.

"The Crown Prince Has Disappeared" is the new work of screenwriters Kim Ji Soo and Park Chul from the drama "Bossam: Steal the Fate" which recorded the highest rating record on MBN. In particular, Suho is considering an offer to appear in the drama as the character of the kidnapped crown prince.

Making his debut as the leader of the boy group EXO, Suho began acting in the film "Glory Day" in 2016. Apart from that, several dramas he has starred in include "Prime Minister & I", "How Are You Bread", and "The Universe's Star" . Previously, Suho also appeared in the MBN drama, namely "Rich Man" in 2016.

Recently, he starred in the opening of the drama "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon". Currently, Suho is starring in the JTBC drama "Behind Your Touch" with Han Ji Min and Lee Min Ki. Here, Suho plays Kim Seon Woo, a migrant who works as a minimarket cashier in Mujin Village.
He has a sweet smile with an expression that is difficult to read, making his figure very mysterious.

Therefore, if Suho agrees to the casting offer for “The Crown Prince Has Disappeared”, he is expected to develop his acting skills. Apart from that, fans are also raising high expectations because this will be Suho's first historical drama.
