On Thursday September 21, 2023, JYP Entertainment informed via its social media that 3 members of Stray Kids, Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin, had a car accident when returning to the dormitory after completing their schedule. The car in which Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin were traveling had a minor collision on September 20, 2023.
The three of them, along with accompanying staff who were in the same car, were then taken to hospital for examination. Fortunately, after undergoing a thorough examination, none of the members and accompanying staff in the car were seriously injured. However, there are bruises and muscle pain that can be felt.
The medical professionals treating them recommended that they receive conservative treatment for now. Furthermore, several activities that had been scheduled for Lee Know, Hyunjin, Seungmin, and other Stray Kids members had to be canceled and rearranged.
Lee Know and Hyunjin, who were scheduled to fly to Italy to attend Milan Fashion Week SS 2024 , had to cancel. Previously, it was known that Lee Know and Hyunjin would attend Milan Fashion Week SS 2024 on September 22 2023. Lee Know will attend as an invited guest from Gucci.
Meanwhile, Hyunjin will represent the famous brand Versace. Seungmin's birthday celebration via the Seungmin's Birthday Live Video event was also canceled. Initially, Seungmin will celebrate his birthday, which falls on September 22, with his fans by doing a live broadcast.
Stray Kids' appearance at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival also had to change its formation. 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, HAN) will be the representative of Stray Kids attending the event. The 2023 Global Citizen Festival will be held on September 23, 2023 on NYC's Central Park Great Lawn.
