NCT will be releasing a new song for their digital single project NCT LAB. This time members Taeil and Haechan will perform a collaboration song titled 'NYCT' or an abbreviation of the name of the city 'New York City'. Quoting from the Instagram account @nct on September 2, 2023, at exactly 00.00 KST, NCT announced the release of a new song for the next NCT LAB project.
The new song entitled 'NYCT' which will be performed by Taeil and Haechan will be released on Thursday September 7 2023, at 18.00 KST. This is the 8th song in the entire NCT LAB song project which was started last year by member Mark with the song 'Child'.
Meanwhile, the song 'NYCT' was previously performed by Taeil and Haechan directly in front of fans, when they held the concert 'Neo City: The Link+' in October last year, at Jamsil Olympic Stadium, Seoul. Along with the announcement of the release date for NCT LAB's latest project, a number of teaser images from Taeil and Haechan have also been shared on a number of social media accounts.
In accordance with the title of the song they performed, Taeil and Haechan appeared in formal outfits. Wearing suits with soft colors, the two of them seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere of New York against the backdrop of popular landmarks in the city. In one of the pictures, the two of them look charismatic, wearing umbrellas and posing with their backs to each other.
The intense gaze towards the camera successfully adds to the charm of both of them. In another picture, the duo, known by the nickname 'Sun & Moon', looks adorable when they face each other and share smiles with each other. The fans can't wait for the release of the song 'NYCT' on September 7, 2023.
Meanwhile, NCT LAB is a project under the auspices of SM STASION as a forum for NCT members to release songs of their own creation. Starting from solo performances, units, to groups. Previously NCT's Jaehyun had also released his solo song titled 'Horizon' last August through the NCT LAB project.
