Your childhood would definitely not be happy if you didn't know this animated cartoon. The story of Avatar : The Last Airbender is adapted from a cartoon and this is the second time it has become a live-action show.

This time, Netflix got the opportunity to produce a live-action series. As we know, Avatar: The Last Airbender was previously adapted into live-action in 2010. However, it was only made into a film.

Not a long series. This American cartoon animation has succeeded in making fans nostalgic by bringing new shows so that fans can't forget that easily.

That's why I will discuss in more detail the reasons for those of you who like watching Avatar: The Last Airbender to watch the latest live-action version from Netflix. Come on, let's look at the discussion!

1. Adaptation of a denser and shorter storyline

In fact, if you look at the original cartoon, the Avatar: The Last Airbender series has 20 episodes, but this time Netflix is only presenting one season with a total of 8 episodes. That means there is a condensed storyline where the story is summarized so that it looks faster.

At first glance, it seems rushed, but I can understand because it's not easy to show a lot of action scenes with such smooth CGI. However, for me, that is enough to relieve fans' longing for this animated series.

2. Stunning CGI performance

CGI is definitely one aspect that fans have been waiting for. Netflix has succeeded in meeting the fans' expectations because I myself have seen the CGI performance of the first episode which has extraordinary visuals.

Every element is displayed very realistically and naturally. This is what amazed me about this series. Almost no detail is left behind in every action scene that requires CGI. Everything adapted seamlessly.

3. Use a different creative perspective

Netflix managed to bring a difference to this new live-action appearance because several scenes look new. Even though it's actually not that much, it's enough to see the variations that differentiate it from previous live-action.

One of them was in episode 8 when Aang surrendered himself to the ocean spirit to show the ocean spirit's anger towards the fire army. The avatar's form is shaped like a giant whale shark.

This is a new innovation when compared to previous live-action. How? Can't wait to watch the series? If so, just watch the story on Netflix!
