SHINee's Key successfully rocked the Taiwanese stage last weekend. After being absent for 9 years, Key finally returned to the country as one of the line up at the "Kaohsiung Cherry Blossom Festival" on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
This 32 year old rapper performed 5 of his hit songs. Among them: "Good and Great", "I Wanna Be", "CoolAs", "Bad Love", and " Gasoline ". Key's stunning appearance was greeted enthusiastically by Shawol ( SHINee fans ).
They sing together and provide support for Key after finally having the opportunity to see their idol again after a long time. Seeing all the support and love from his fans, Key looked surprised. He didn't expect Shawol to still be so loyal to him after dozens of years and not having a show in Taiwan for quite a long time.
"Thank you for your love and support. So many things have happened in the last few years," said Key sincerely, as quoted via Instagram @shinee_05_25. "Ooh, Kim Kibum," he said, smiling and imitating the screams of the fans who called his name.
Key also admitted that he really missed being able to return to Taiwan. He said that in the past he and SHINee had held concerts in that country, then also the SMTOWN concert. "I really miss you guys. Do you guys miss me too? Ah, I can see that," he said sparklingly.
Apart from shouting the names "Kim Kibum" and "Saranghae (I love you)", Shawol also said SHINee's name loudly. "Yes, SHINee. That's my group. Sooner or later I will come back with my members. I will come back because I'm here," said Key, which immediately made the audience even more excited.
Furthermore, SHINee just finished their Asia tour. However, only Singapore and Hong Kong are the destinations for this SM Entertainment group. So the fans certainly feel dissatisfied and really want to meet their idol. Apart from that, the news of Taemin and Onew's departure from the company also made fans worried.
Moreover, Onew has been absent for almost 1 year due to health problems. So Key's words are a bit of a relief because fans hope that SHINee will really continue to be together as a group and hold lots of concerts. Not only in Korea and Japan, but also in many countries in the world.
