It is reported that all BTS members will gather together to welcome BTS Jin's return from military service on June 12, 2024. The six BTS members who are in the military are said to have taken time off to celebrate the return of the oldest BTS member.
This news was conveyed by Dispatch on Monday June 10, 2024, which reported that all BTS members would gather at an undisclosed location in Seoul, South Korea, to avoid potential crowds and traffic jams. However, there has been no official confirmation from BigHit Music as the agency that oversees the group singing the song Dynamite.
Previously, Jin had undertaken military service in December 2022 and served for 18 months. The man born in 1992 will complete his military service and return to being a civilian on Wednesday June 12, 2024. The media said there was no special celebration with fans officially on the day the member returned.
After completing his military service, Jin will participate in the BTS Festa 2024 event at the Seoul Sports Complex on June 13, 2024. During the event, BigHit Music also said that there would be a "hug event" session planned by Jin for 1,000 lucky fans.
The event was even held at the request of Jin who wanted to spend time with ARMY in celebrating the 11th anniversary of BTS's debut. BTS Festa 2024 is the highlight of the event where BTS and ARMY meet to commemorate the idol's debut date on June 13.
The owner of the real name Kim Seok-jin is also allegedly preparing for a solo album which is planned for release in the second half of 2024. Jin became the first BTS member to undertake and complete military service among the other members. J-Hope then became the second member and is planned to complete his military service in October.
Meanwhile, the other BTS members are expected to reunite as one group after all of them complete military service in July 2025. Military service is mandatory for men who are confirmed to be healthy in South Korea. Men must carry out military service for a period of between 18-21 months depending on the division and force they choose.
