Musician Sabrina Carpenter debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with a new song entitled Please Please Please on Monday June 24, 2024. This achievement succeeded in making the single Sabrina Carpenter's first song to occupy number 1 on Billboard.

Previously, the song had debuted in second place on Billboard after being released on June 6. At that time, the song Please Please Please also became Sabrina Carpenter's first song with the highest Billboard position compared to other songs.

The song Espresso, which was previously released, only managed to occupy third place on June 22. Meanwhile, the song Feather was in 21st position on April 27, 2024, followed by the song Skin in 48th position on February 6, 2021, and the song Nonsense in 56th position on February 4, 2023.

According to Luminte data reported by Billboard, Sabrina Carpenter's latest song has been listened to 50.9 million times via streaming services while experiencing an increase of around 1 percent in this week's period. Meanwhile, on radio channels, the song has been played 3.2 million times and has increased by 502 percent.

The music video (MV) for the song Please Please Please, which was also uploaded on YouTube, has also been watched almost 35 million times since it was first released on June 7, 2024. In the MV, Sabrina surprised the public by presenting her boyfriend, actor Barry Keoghan, as the main star.

With Please Please Please's achievement at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, Sabrina Carpenter also overtook Post Malone's latest single featuring Morgan Wallen, entitled I Had Some Help. The song had to drop to second place after being in first place for the past month. 

Then, the third position was occupied by Shaboozey's song A Bar Song (Tipsy). Currently, the name Sabrina Carpenter is one of the musicians from the United States who is becoming famous worldwide on social media.
