Geum Sae Rok is confirmed to star in the KBS2 drama 'Iron Family' (literal title) along with Kim Jung Hyun as the female lead. Written by screenwriter Seo Sook Hyang of 'Pasta', 'Don't Dare to Dream' (also known as 'Jealousy Incarnate'), and 'Wok of Love', 'Iron Family' is a dark comedy that follows a family that has run a laundry business for three generations.

One day, they get unexpected money by chance, allowing them to overcome problems in life and pursue their dreams. Geum Sae Rok will play Lee Da Rim, the youngest daughter of the Clean Laundry run by three generations. Da Rim suffers from an incurable disease that has gradually narrowed her vision since she was 14 years old.

Despite her visual impairment, Da Rim is brave and confident. She miraculously finds a cure for her illness, but she is frustrated by the high cost of treatment. One day, Da Rim reunites with Seo Kang Joo (Kim Jung Hyun), with whom she shared unforgettable memories, for the first time in eight years, and they continue their relationship.

Previously, Kim Jung Hyun and INFINITE's Sungyeol were confirmed to play Seo Kang Joo, the managing director of Jiseung Group, and Choi Hyung Chul, a lieutenant at the Cheongrim Police Station. More stars including Choi Tae Joon and Yang Hye Ji are reported to be starring in the drama. 'Iron Family' is scheduled to premiere in September as a follow-up to 'Beauty and Mr. Romantic'.
