(G)I-DLE's Soyeon showed her generosity by donating to help residents affected by heavy rain and flooding. On July 18, 2024, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that Soyeon had donated 100 million won and was appointed as a member of the Honor Club, a group of high-value donors.

Soyeon said, "I decided to donate in hopes of providing some comfort to those affected by the recent heavy rains." The K-Pop star has consistently done good deeds, such as donating 20 million won (around 223 million rupiah) to help people affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria last year.

With this donation, he has been appointed as a member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club. Soyeon plans to continue showing her interest in helping people affected by disasters recover quickly from them.

Hope Bridge Chairman Song Pil Ho said, "I would like to thank Soyeon for sharing with the residents affected by the heavy rain. Hope Bridge will do its best to make sure Soyeon's warmth is fully conveyed to those affected."
