Big Planet Made Entertainment (BPM Entertainment) released an apology for the error in Ha Sung Woon's latest album sales data. Solo singer Ha Sung Woon has just released his eighth mini album titled 'Blessed' on July 17, 2024.

As is common with Kpop idols, album sales should have been recorded since the first day of release. Unfortunately, sales were not recorded in the early period and were only recorded on the chart on July 24 (the second week since the album's release).

“After checking, we found that in the process of registering the initial sales of Ha Sung Woon’s 8th mini album, some of the sales were not registered in the initial period and were only registered on the chart on July 24, 2024, so an error occurred that caused the initial sales to be missed,” wrote Big Planet Made Entertainment as quoted by Sports Chosun.

Due to this mistake, the agency that manages Ha Sung Woon apologized to fans and hopes that they will continue to support their artist's comeback. According to @koreansales_twt on Twitter, Ha Sung Woon's Blessed album sales in a week were recorded at 35,293 copies of the album. Since his solo debut until July 26, 2024, Ha Sung Woon has sold a total of 550,000 copies of the album on the Circle Chart.

Meanwhile, the new Blessed album was released after 1 year and 11 months since Ha Sung Woon's last album 'Strange World' on August 24, 2022. The Blessed album is the first album released by Ha Sung Woon after completing his military service last April.

Here is the official statement from Big Planet Made Entertainment: “Hello. This is Big Planet Made Entertainment. We would like to provide information regarding the missed initial sales data of our artist Ha Sung Woon’s 8th mini album ‘Blessed’.

After checking, we found that in the process of registering the initial sales of Ha Sung Woon's 8th mini album, some of the sales were not registered in the initial period and were only registered on the chart on July 24, so an error occurred that caused the initial sales to be missed.

However, we hope that fans understand that the album sales staff who worked with us have also worked hard for the success of Ha Sung Woon's comeback. We will take responsibility for this incident and in the future, we will proactively ensure that every detail is taken care of by all parties who work with us to meet the expectations of fans without any mistakes.
