The Land of Happiness film held a press conference on Monday July 22, 2024. As Lee Sun Kyun's last big screen film, the director and cast remembered the late actor. In the film The Land of Happiness, the late Lee Sun Kyun played Park Tae Joo, the assistant secretary of the chief of the intelligence department who was tried for involvement in the presidential assassination case under the orders of his superior.

Director Choo Chang Min revealed the reason Lee Sun Kyun starred in the film. He shared, "The first time I worked with Lee Sun Kyun, I asked him why he chose this project and he said it was because of Jo Jung Suk." "Lee Sun Kyun said that he (Jo Jung Suk) seemed like a good actor and that he wanted to work with him and learn from him," said the director.

Director Choo Chang Min added, “I learned a lot from the idea that good actors also have curiosity and desire and act with a learning attitude.” A moved Jo Jung Suk reminisced about Lee Sun Kyun by sharing, "He was a very loving person. That's why there wasn't a single moment when he wasn't happy while filming, and he was also very cheerful."

"And he jokes around with me a lot and accepts everything I do. He's a really, really good older brother," said Jo Jung Suk. Jo Jung Suk continued, “However, he was more persistent than anyone else on set, so I remember him as a really sexy older brother when he was acting and really warm behind the camera.
