Through the official X account (or Twitter) on Thursday June 26, 2024, One Piece shared three new actors who will join the second season, including Clive Russell as Crocus, Werner Coetser as Dorry, and Brendan Murray as Brogy.

Clive Russell has long been known in the film industry as a senior actor with his role as Brynden "Blackfish" Tully in the Game of Thrones series. Russell was chosen to play the character of Crocus, a doctor and caretaker of the Twin Cape Lighthouse. Crocus appeared in the Reverse Mountain arc.

Werner Coetser is a South African actor who had a role in the series Gertroud Met Rugby in 2016. Now, the actor has been cast to play a giant named Dorry the Blue Ogre in One Piece live action season two. Dorry is the captain of the Giant Warrior Pirates along with Brogy who appeared in the Little Garden and Egghead arcs.

In addition, Brendan Murray was chosen as the character Broggy. Together with Dorry, Broggy is the captain of the Gian Warrior Pirates who is also friends with Monkey D. Luffy's Straw Hat Pirates crew. Broggy appears in the Little Garden and Egghead arcs with Dorry.

The seven actors are set to join the five main cast members of the live-action One Piece, namely Inaki Godoy as Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp. Until now, Netflix as the production house has not provided any news regarding the cast of the characters Vivi, Robin, and Chopper.
