BTS's Suga  is soon scheduled to undergo a police investigation following the drunk driving case he experienced some time ago. The local police said they would confirm the examination schedule this week. The examination will be carried out after police officers have conducted additional investigations into the case.

"We are currently arranging a summons schedule for BTS's Suga," said a police officer, as reported by Korea JoongAng Daily on Monday August 19, 2024. "We will confirm the schedule this week. It will not happen on weekends or at night," he continued.

The officer confirmed that police will not set up a photo area for the press while the musician is being questioned, so Suga will not stand in front of the press for photos and a Q&A session before the questioning. The police explained that the agenda was only a regular inspection process without any particular differences.

BTS's Suga case began when police officers found the musician collapsed to the ground on Tuesday August 6, 2024 at 23:27 KST. The police then conducted an initial check after smelling alcohol from Suga's body.

Officers then took him to the nearest police station and revealed his blood alcohol content was 0.227 percent, which is well above the 0.08 percent threshold for driver's license revocation. BTS's Suga was then questioned by the police due to the incident. However, Suga was finally allowed to go home after undergoing a series of investigations by the police.

Exactly one day later, Suga released an apology and admitted his actions of riding an electric scooter with a seat after drinking alcohol. However, the singer whose full name is Min Yoon-gi admitted that he did not realize that he had broken the law. "I rode an electric scooter when I came home last night, after drinking and having dinner.

I thought it was a short distance and I didn't realize that I couldn't ride an electric scooter after drinking," said BTS's Suga. "I apologize to those who were disappointed by my irresponsible and wrong actions," Suga continued. "I will be more careful with my actions to prevent similar things from happening again in the future."
