PLEDIS Entertainment has just announced to fans regarding members Jeonghan and Jun's absence from SEVENTEEN's group activities in the second half of 2024. Quoting Soompi on Monday August 12, 2024, the agency PLEDIS Entertainment conveyed through their official statement that members Jeonghan and Jun will be absent from SEVENTEEN's group activities for the remainder of 2024.
PLEDIS said member Jeonghan will soon enlist in the military this year. The idol has already filmed some content with the group beforehand. However, he will not be participating in SEVENTEEN's 12th mini album promotions. Jeonghan will also be absent from the world tour concert schedule 'SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR' which will start this October.
However, fans can still meet Jeonghan through the Lollapalooza stage in Berlin. Meanwhile, details of the idol's departure for military service will be announced in a separate official statement. Not much different from Jeonghan, member Jun will also be absent from a number of group activities this year in order to pursue an acting career in China.
