Kim Hye Yoon received a casting offer to play the Korean gumiho (a nine-tailed fox in East Asian folklore) in I'm Human from Today (literal title). On August 16, 2024, her agency Artist Company stated to Top Star News, "Kim Hye Yoon has received an offer to appear on I'm Human from Today and is positively considering it."
I'm Human from Today tells the story of a strange gumiho — who, unlike most gumihos, avoids being human at all costs in order to enjoy all the fun things life has to offer — and a narcissistic soccer star who crosses paths with her.
Kim Hye Yoon has been offered the role of Eun Ho, a wealthy MZ gumiho who enjoys her unchanging youth and beauty, never grows up, takes no responsibility for anything, and only enjoys the fun parts of the human world like games.
It was previously reported that actress Shin Sae Kyeong was being considered for the same role. The role of narcissistic soccer star Kang Si Yeol has been offered to actor Lomon who is also reviewing it.
Following her role in Lovely Runner , actress Kim Hye Yoon gained global fame, leading to her holding fan meetings titled Hye-ppiness in Seoul and Japan. She is next scheduled to meet fans in Taiwan on August 24, 2024.
