Suga, a member of the BTS group, was recently involved in a controversy regarding allegations of driving an electric scooter while drunk in Seoul, South Korea. Initially, BIGHIT MUSIC's agency, in its statement, called the vehicle that Suga was riding an "electric kickboard."
However, police later clarified that the vehicle was more like a scooter with a seat. Korean television station JTBC released CCTV footage showing Suga riding an electric scooter. In the footage, Suga is seen riding on a busy road with cars.
The size and structure of the vehicle looks more like a motorcycle than an electric kickboard. Since the release of this CCTV footage, netizens have commented with disappointment over BTS Suga's actions and his initial statement which was considered misleading.
"It looks like a motorcycle. Can't believe they're trying to say it's a kickboard LOL. Just be a soloist," wrote one netizen commenter. "Suga, leave the group," replied another comment. "That's not enough to commit a crime, he even lied about it... Just leave the group. I don't want to see you anymore.
Know how relieved it is that no accident happened," another netizen commented. "Everything must have been found out, but he still lied in his statement?" added another netizen. Previously, Suga was also accused of lying in his statement by calling the vehicle a "kickboard" and giving an inaccurate location of where he was found fallen.
The case attracted public and media attention, and sparked debate about Suga's responsibility and integrity as a public figure. This is the latest information about BTS's Suga who was involved in a traffic violation scandal due to being drunk.
