According to Osen, regarding this, Blissoo - the company in charge of Jisoo's personal activities - said: "We have received an offer to play the main role in Monthly Boyfriend and are considering it." Jisoo officially debuted as an actress in the JTBC drama “Snowdrop,” which ended on January 30, 2022.

The collaboration between Jisoo and actor Jung Hae In in the love story full of twists and turns and despair attracted attention. Jisoo then made a special appearance (cameo role) in the movie “Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman” (2023). Currently, another movie of the eldest member of Blackpink has finished filming, which is “Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint”.

“Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint” is based on the popular web novel of the same name and is scheduled to be released next summer. While actors Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Min Ho play the male leads, Jisoo is said to be playing Lee Ji Hye - the only female high school survivor in the original novel.

With her survival experience, Lee Ji Hye helps the male lead Yoo Jung Hyuk (Lee Min Ho) overcome the crisis thanks to her fighting talent. In addition, Jisoo also completed filming for the online platform Coupang Play's drama " Newtopia " last month. On August 1, 2024, the first images of the two main characters played by Jisoo and actor Park Jung Min were revealed.

“Newtopia” is adapted from the novel “Influenza”. The film tells the story of two lovers, Lee Jae Yoon and Kang Young Ju. Together they fight in the dangerous city of Seoul, where everyone is infected with a mysterious virus. They not only have to face zombies but also have to overcome difficulties and challenges to protect their love.

Jisoo is the third member of Blackpink to establish her own management company called Blissoo (under her brother's company) in February this year. Jisoo is currently carrying out individual activities in parallel with group activities with Blackpink's management company YG Entertainment.

On the occasion of their 8th debut anniversary, Blackpink appeared before the public with the full lineup of 4 members, at the movie introduction event "Blackpink World Tour (Born Pink) in Cinemas", held at Yeongdeungpo Times Square, Seoul (Korea), on August 9, 2024. According to YG's announced plan, Blackpink will continue group activities with a new song and organize a world tour next year.
